Majorsgrund is easy to reach with almost all means of transport.

Rail
There are several daily train connections from Helsinki.
Depending on the connection, the journey time is approx. 4 hours.
You can book the train journey through the statelyVR train.
From the train station it is about 25 minutes by car/rental car/taxi.
Depending on the booking, a paid transfer can be arranged from the airport or pier.

Automobile
Coming from Helsinki, it is best to drive via Tampere to the island (motorway/highway E12).
Overall, the driving time for the 410km is about 5 hours, depending on traffic.
There are no motorway tolls in Finland - so you only have to pay attention to the speed and possible deer crossings.
Experience has shown that fuel prices in Scandinavia are higher than, for example, in Germany.

Travemünde (D) – Helsinki (F) > Duration 29 hours
car:
Helsinki – Malax = 410 km > 5 hrs
ferry -Viking line
Stockholm (S) – Turku (F) > Duration 10 hours
car:
Turku – Malax = 310 km > 4 hrs
ferry -Vasaline
Umea (S) – Vaasa (F) > Duration 4 hours
car:
Vaasa - Malax = 20 km > 25 mins

Airplane
The fastest (but not always the most environmentally friendly) way to come to Majorsgrund is to fly to Vaasa internationalVaasa Airport (VAA).
This airport is easily accessible several times a day from most major European airports.
In most cases, you will never need more than 4-6 hours to get there.
From Vaasa it is then only a 20-minute drive to Öjna (pier), from where our manager will take you to the island.
Depending on the booking, a paid transfer can be arranged from the airport or pier.
